(or, how i found happiness pursuing the things i love)
If my house was on fire and I could grab one thing, it would be my blanket. It's been a staple of who I am for the past 25 years, and I can't see it leaving me for the next 25 years.
But my blankets were getting old and tattered. When I looked for a new one, I found prices over $250 and brands that seemed to tack them onto their product lines as afterthoughts.
So I saw a way to combine the three things I'm really passionate about: cozy, meaningful blankets, brand building, and contributing to something greater than myself. We all have a story about someone we know who's been abused by a loved one. I think it's time we start doing something about it.
